The waterfalls are absolutely stunning, a natural destination that’s truly worth the visit. Even though the bus journey takes about 6 hours, this excursion is definitely worthwhile! you can get there by riding for just 20 dirham per person. Our guide, Hassan, was attentive and took great care of the group; a delightful individual! Dining with the waterfall as a backdrop for 120 dirham per person was delicious, despite being at a tourist price location (where the guide directs you to eat). I wholeheartedly recommend this experience—100% worth it!

Great trip overall! It does take a bit of time to reach the destination, but the van had air conditioning, and there were convenient stops on both legs of the journey. Visiting in August meant dealing with high temperatures, so I’d suggest considering a cooler month for this tour. The uphill walking under the sun can be a bit overwhelming in the heat. Our tour guide was wonderful, and the food was delightful (note that there’s a cost for the food, but you can opt to bring your own lunch or eat elsewhere if you prefer). The boat trip was a pleasant addition, and you can save money by paying for it on-site. The monkeys were incredibly adorable, and snapping some photos with them was a highlight. However, be prepared for the tour to feel a bit rushed at times; for instance, we didn’t have much time to spend with the monkeys. Despite this, the tour is definitely worth it for the breathtaking scenery. Just keep in mind that if you’re not keen on walking a lot or dealing with the heat, it might be better to consider a different month to visit.
