Riad Bouchedor
A night in Ouarzazate on your desert tour — a kasbah-style riad with four corner towers, a central courtyard, a big outdoor pool, and stargazing from the tower suites.
The riad
A home away from home in a real kasbah, on the edge of the Sahara.
Riad Bouchedor is a kasbah-style riad in Ouarzazate — the film-studio town known as the door of the desert, between the High Atlas and the Sahara. It’s built in the traditional form of a kasbah: four corner towers, high walls and a central courtyard, using old craftsmanship — tadelakt plaster, hand-cut bejmat tiles and fossil-stone sinks. The feeling is calm and intimate; guests describe it as a home away from home.
Outside the rooms there’s a big outdoor swimming pool — very welcome on the way to or from the desert — with a garden, a rooftop terrace and a dining room. Breakfast is included, the food earns warm reviews, and the two tower suites are topped with a dome for stargazing from your bed.
