Your stay · Erg Chebbi, Merzouga
Your tour includes a night here, deep in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here's what the camp is like — and how to arrive ready for it.
The camp
A real bed and a hot shower, with nothing but Sahara on the other side of the canvas.
The camp sits in a horseshoe at the foot of the great dune of Erg Chebbi, tents spaced well apart. Each one is furnished the Berber way — carved wood, woven fabrics, a leather bed — and has its own private bathroom with a hot-water shower.
Dinner is Moroccan and generous, served in the restaurant tent. Afterwards everyone gathers round the fire for music and mint tea before the sky fills with stars. The team speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian, and they’ll look after you from the moment you arrive.
