Dar Chamaa
A night in Ouarzazate on your desert tour — a kasbah-style riad in the palm grove, with air-conditioned ensuite rooms, an outdoor pool, a spa, and Atlas Mountain views.
The riad
A relaxed kasbah-riad in the palm grove, with the Atlas rising behind.
Dar Chamaa is a kasbah-style riad in the palm grove just outside Ouarzazate — the film-studio town known as the door of the desert, with the High Atlas rising behind. Built like a traditional kasbah with mud walls and corner towers, it’s arranged around a central courtyard with a fountain and archways, and looks out over the mountains.
It’s a comfortable place to break the journey to or from the desert: an outdoor pool ringed by sun loungers and palms, a spa and a gym, gardens, a restaurant and a bar. The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, and the rooftop is the spot for sunset over the palms and peaks.
