Casa Hassan
A night in Chefchaouen, Morocco's blue city, on your tour — a charming historic riad in the heart of the medina, with fireplace-warmed rooms, rooftop terraces over the blue streets, and a hammam.
The riad
A historic house in the heart of the blue city, cradled by the Rif.
Casa Hassan is a charming, historic riad in the heart of Chefchaouen’s medina — the blue-washed old town cradled in the Rif Mountains. It grew over the years from three traditional houses joined into one, decorated throughout with the work of local artists, antique pieces and Andalusian detail. The rooms circle a courtyard, and the rooftop terraces look out over the blue streets and the mountains beyond.
Every room has a fireplace and a private bathroom, and the shared spaces — a lounge with several fireplaces, a library, and the terraces — are as lovely as the rooms. There’s a hammam and a much-loved restaurant just across the lane, where dinner and breakfast are served, all a few steps from Outa El Hammam Square at the heart of the old town.
