Tour Plan

Day 1: Marrakech – Aguersioual – Ouirgane National Park

Our starting point will be from Marrakech and then we head to Aguersioual, where we will meet our guide, cook and mules. Our guides are highly knowledgeable of the area of the High Atlas Mountains, hence they will make your trip far more interesting and exciting. Our cook is keen on carefully selecting the most tasteful traditional dishes and the mules are used to carry all your equipment. On this day we will start off with an acclimatization trek to prep you for the coming treks, thus, we will trek in the Ouirgane National Park. Then we will have a picnic lunch in the highlands filled with juniper trees. Overnight at a shelter in the Berber village of Tizian region.

Day 2: Azzaden Valley Day Trek

After a refreshing breakfast by our cook, our destination for the day will be the astounding Azzedin Valley. The valley will reward us with stunning views of lice-white mountains - or not yet snow clocked (depending on the time of the year) - loomed over us, through which streams run joyfully, as well as walnut groves and stunning views of Toubkal summit. Overnight in a village or at the valley ( At a guest house )

Day 3: Azzaden Valley – Aguelzim Pass – Toubkal Refuge

For this day, a pretty stiff climb is awaiting for us. We shall climb ourselves out of the valley passing by the magical waterfall of Ighouliden and across the Aguelzim Mountain pass at 3560m. The trek will land us at the Toubkal Refuge where we will spend our night. The Refuge is pretty basic, meaning that you will probably have to share a room with other Mountaineers, however, the Refuge has a hot running water for showers and a lounge area with a fireplace where you can chill. Take a good night rest and prepare to face the Toubkal summit the next morning.

Day 4: Toubkal Summit – Imlil – Marrakech

We will aim for an early morning to climb Toubkal (4167m), as we want to avoid the heated morning sun. The sight from the summit is an impressive sight, the Majestic Mountain laying it shadow over the villages, and the peak definitely kept its promise of an epic view. We will retrace our steps back to refuge and eventually to Imlil where your transportation back to Marrakech will be waiting for you. Today will feel like a long day as we will have trekked for 8-9 hours, including a 900m upwards climbing added to another 2500m down to Imlil.
